Person dies after getting hit by train in busy Charlotte neighborhood

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A person died after they were hit by a train in a busy Charlotte neighborhood on Monday morning. The collision happened just before 10 a.m. along Central Avenue near Lamar Avenue in the Plaza Midwood area.
